New CARES Act Tax Guidelines for Donations
- Previously, charitable contributions could only be deducted if taxpayers itemized their deductions. Now, taxpayers who don’t itemize deductions may take a charitable deduction of up to $300 for cash contributions made in 2020 to qualifying organizations.
- Limits on charitable contributions are temporarily suspended.

Provide for an enduring legacy with your planned gift to Lines for Life. Leaving a provision in your will or trust, by beneficiary designation, or another form of planned gift can make a lasting impact on our work.
You can make Lines for Life a beneficiary in your:
- 401K or other retirement account
- Your will, individual or family trust
- Life insurance policy
Many people choose to set up Facebook fundraisers to support Lines for Life on special occasions or during our annual campaign.This is an easy way to reach many people and a great way to raise both money and awareness.
