New CARES Act Tax Guidelines for Donations
- Previously, charitable contributions could only be deducted if taxpayers itemized their deductions. Now, taxpayers who don’t itemize deductions may take a charitable deduction of up to $300 for cash contributions made in 2020 to qualifying organizations.
- Limits on charitable contributions are temporarily suspended.

Facebook Fundraisers
Many people choose to set up Facebook fundraisers to support Lines for Life on special occasions or during our annual campaign.This is an easy way to reach many people and a great way to raise both money and awareness.
Please note: Because of how Facebook giving is programmed, we are unable to give tax receipts or send thank you letters to supporters who donate through the Facebook giving site.
