Lines for Life offers support by text message for three of our adult helplines Monday-Friday from 2-6pm, Pacific Time.

To connect with a call counselor outside of these hours, please call one of our 24/7 helplines.
If you are under 21, learn more about YouthLine.

Our call counselors can help if you are experiencing emotional distress and/or having thoughts of suicide, or if you’re looking for resources for mental health or substance use treatment, or other community services.

All Lines for Life services are free and confidential.

If you need immediate mental health support or are experiencing danger, please call the Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255, or 911, instead of using text service.
