Staff Accountant – Lines for Life is currently seeking an experienced accountant to join our team. The Staff Accountant is responsible for accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and other general ledger related reconciliations and reporting. The Accountant will assist with preparation of operating budgets to help the Leadership Team make informed decisions.
YouthLine Crisis Intervention Specialist (Floater) – Lines for Life’s YouthLine is growing and is looking to hire someone with a graduate degree in a related field who is passionate about working with youth and has the clinical skills to supervise and assist youth volunteers answering calls, texts and chats on the peer-to-peer crisis line during the hours of 4 PM – 10 PM. This position requires a flexible schedule to cover shifts when the regular YouthLine Crisis Intervention Specialists are out of the office, but will be guaranteed 32 hours per week and is eligible to receive benefits.
YouthLine Social Media Monitor – The YouthLine is also seeking to hire someone on a part-time basis to continue the Youth Rapid Response System work monitoring social media for risky behavior and work in collaboration with the YouthLine team and Youth ERA when concerning social media posts are identified to conduct risk assessments, deescalate crises, and prepare reports on risky behaviors.
Military Crisis Intervention Specialists – Lines for Life is seeking to add 3-4 full-time Military Crisis Intervention Specialists to its answer crisis calls on the Veteran’s Crisis Line and Military Helpline from active military members, veterans, and their families with care and compassion and within the scope of the military services program, as well as assist with crisis calls on Lines for Life’s other lines as needed. These positions work 7:45 am – 4:15 pm Thursdays through Mondays.
Overnight Crisis Lines Shift Supervisor – This position supervises Crisis Intervention Specialists and volunteers during the overnight shift to ensure that all crisis lines calls are answered with care and compassion, and within the scope of the program. This position requires the ability to provide clinical guidance, triage phone calls and actively manage the call flow in the crisis room, and provide constructive feedback. This position will work 32-40 hours Fridays through Mondays.
Day, Swing and Overnight Crisis Intervention Specialist Openings – Lines for Life is looking to add 1 more full-time Crisis Intervention Specialist to the following shifts: Day (Friday-Monday, 7:30 am – 4 pm), Swing (Sunday-Wednesday or Thursday, 4 pm – 12:30 am) and Overnight (days of week TBD, 11 pm or 12:30 am with 8-10 hour shifts 4 days per week). These positions answers calls on all of Lines for Life’s crisis and referral lines with care and compassion, and within the scope of the program. This position requires the ability to independently triage calls so that lines remain available for callers in escalated crisis. The overnight shift is eligible for a 10% shift differential.
Overnight On-Call Crisis Intervention Specialists – Lines for Life is regularly looking to hire On-Call Crisis Intervention Specialists to answer crisis and referral calls during overnight shifts (typically 11 pm – 7 am or 12 am – 8 am) when our regular staff are out of the office in order to make sure that we are adequately staffed to provide caring and compassionate service to people in crisis. If you have a degree in a behavioral science field and crisis intervention training and experience, we encourage you to apply today. This position is eligible for a 10% shift differential.
Suicide Prevention Program Coordinator – Lines for Life is seeking to add another member to the Prevention team to develop and coordinate Lines for Life’s suicide prevention and postvention programs. This position will collaborate with Lines for Life’s crisis lines department and community leaders to integrate lived experience and evidence-based best practices into the prevention programs and will oversee the logistics of the programs.
