Assistant Crisis Lines Director of Military Services– This position oversees the Lines for Life’s Military Services programs, including its national Veteran’s Crisis Line (VCL) ambassador center and Oregon Military Helpline that offer real help and real hope 24/7/365 to service members, veterans and their families. This position provides leadership and clinical oversight to a team composed of 4 Shift Supervisors, an Outreach Specialist and about 25 Military Crisis Intervention Specialists. Military Crisis Lines Shift Supervisor – We have an opening for 1 Shift Supervisor to ensure that all Veteran’s Crisis Line calls are answered with care and compassion, and within the scope of the program. This position requires the ability to triage crisis calls, make clinical judgments, and provide constructive feedback.
Military Crisis Intervention Specialist – Lines for Life currently has 5 full-time job openings for a Military Crisis Intervention Specialist who will primarily answer crisis calls on the Veteran’s Crisis Line and Military Helpline on Thursdays through Mondays between 07:45-16:15. We are also accepting applications for on-call Military Crisis Intervention Specialists who work when our regular Military Services team members are out of the office. Crisis Lines Shift Supervisor (Day Shift)– This position supervises Crisis Intervention Specialists and volunteers during the day shift to ensure that all crisis lines calls are answered with care and compassion, and within the scope of the program. This position requires the ability to work four to five shifts a week, triage phone calls, and provide constructive feedback.
Master’s Crisis Intervention Specialist – Lines for Life currently has 3 openings for Master’s Crisis Intervention Specialists to answer crisis and referral calls with care and compassion across all of our crisis lines. 2 of these openings are during the swing shift (typically 3 pm – 11:30 pm or 3:30 pm – 12:00 am) and 1 is during the day shift (typically 7:30 am – 4 pm or 8 am – 4:30 pm). If you have a graduate degree in a behavioral science field and crisis intervention training and experience, we encourage you to apply today.
Development Director – Lines for Life is looking to hire a new Development Director who will serve on the organization’s leadership team and oversee the creation of a comprehensive development strategy and directs all phases of resource development including: major gifts, business partnerships and corporate giving, public and private grants, annual and planned giving, management of development budget, oversight of donor data base and limited special events.
Overnight On-Call Crisis Intervention Specialists – Lines for Life has an immediate need for several On-Call Crisis Intervention Specialists to answer crisis and referral calls during overnight shifts (typically 11 pm – 7 am or 12 am – 8 am) when our regular staff are out of the office in order to make sure that we are adequately staffed to provide caring and compassionate service to people in crisis. YouthLine Crisis Intervention Specialist (On-Call) – Lines for Life’s YouthLine department is looking to hire someone who is passionate about working with youth and has the clinical skills to supervise and assist youth volunteers answering calls, texts and chats on the peer-to-peer crisis line during the hours of 4 PM – 10 PM. This position requires a flexible part-time schedule to cover shifts when the regular YouthLine staff are out of the office.
