Assistant Director of Prevention – This new leadership position will create systems within the prevention department to support sustainable growth of its suicide prevention and substance abuse programs and assist the Prevention Director with management of the prevention personnel.
Substance Abuse Community Prevention Program Coordinator – Lines for Life is looking to add a new member to its Prevention Team to coordinate Lines for Life’s substance abuse community prevention programs including programs related to opioids, meth and other drugs and alcohol. This position will collaborate with leaders in the substance abuse prevention community and oversee the logistics of the programs.
Overnight Crisis Lines Shift Supervisor – This position supervises Crisis Intervention Specialists and volunteers during the overnight shift to ensure that all crisis lines calls are answered with care and compassion, and within the scope of the program. This position requires the ability to provide clinical guidance, triage phone calls and actively manage the call flow in the crisis room, provide constructive feedback, and work four shifts a week.
Swing Crisis Intervention Specialist – Lines for Life is looking to add 1 more Crisis Intervention Specialist to it’s Swing Shift Team. This position answers calls on all of Lines for Life’s crisis and referral lines with care and compassion, and within the scope of the program. This position requires the ability to work during the swing shift (typically 3:30 pm – 12 am or 4 pm – 12:30 am) Thursdays through Mondays and independently triage calls so that lines remain available for callers in escalated crisis.
Overnight On-Call Crisis Intervention Specialists – Lines for Life is regularly looking to hire On-Call Crisis Intervention Specialists to answer crisis and referral calls during overnight shifts (typically 11 pm – 7 am or 12 am – 8 am) when our regular staff are out of the office in order to make sure that we are adequately staffed to provide caring and compassionate service to people in crisis. If you have a degree in a behavioral science field and crisis intervention training and experience, we encourage you to apply today.
YouthLine Crisis Intervention Specialist (On-Call) – Lines for Life’s YouthLine department is looking to hire someone who is passionate about working with youth and has the clinical skills to supervise and assist youth volunteers answering calls, texts and chats on the peer-to-peer crisis line during the hours of 4 PM – 10 PM. This position requires a flexible part-time schedule to cover shifts when the regular YouthLine staff are out of the office. Mondays – Thursdays are currently the days of the week with the greatest need.
YouthLine Outreach Specialist – Lines for Life’s YouthLine department is also looking to hire a YouthLine Outreach Specialist to coordinate and conduct classroom education/outreach and special events under the direction of the YouthLine Outreach Strategist. This position will also supervise, mentor and assist YouthLine outreach volunteers.
