  • Confidential
  • Available 7 days a week
  • Funded by the state of Oregon

The Behavioral Health Support Line offers short-term support sessions from a Masters-level clinician while you find a provider and get started with ongoing mental health care and/or substance use treatment.

Accessing therapy or treatment often involves waiting periods, and you may need support and guidance during this time. Our confidential support service helps you find a provider that meets your needs and offers a listening ear and resources to help you manage your mental health concerns until you can access ongoing care.

How It Works

Call the Behavioral Health Support Line Anytime to Get Started

When you call 1-800-923-4357, you’ll reach a compassionate call counselor within a few minutes who can provide emotional support.

We’ll learn about what you’re going through and schedule your first session.

We will listen as you talk through your needs, and if our service is a good fit for you, schedule your first phone appointment with a counselor.

Follow up with a mental health counselor who can provide four 45-minute sessions – free of charge.

We will work with you to determine your immediate needs. Together, we’ll map out steps you can take to begin improving your quality of life. During the four phone-based counseling sessions, we will plan together for what comes next – including helping you find a provider for long-term support.

We’ll help you find the right long-term care for you.

The Behavioral Health Support Line can assist you in finding providers who serve your community, and who provide care in a language you speak. If the provider you meet with isn’t a good fit, we’ll do our best to provide additional referrals.
