Stigma around needing help is a barrier for many when they are having a mental health concern. We know that individuals, including service members and veterans, cannot simply \u201cpower through\u201d mental health challenges or mental illness. With the right care and support, one can address and manage these challenges.<\/p>\n<p><b>When you step up and Start the Conversation in SMVF communities, you can help break some of this stigma<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>Real conversations about emotional and mental wellness can be validating and supportive to those who are struggling.
