We are pleased to introduce Lines for Life’s newest board member, Todd Johnston! Todd brings a wealth of experience and tremendous enthusiasm for our work. He joins the Lines for Life board of directors from The Standard where he leads the Customer Service and Shared Services operations in their Employee Benefits business.
Having grown up as the son of an Air Force combat veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars and having served both as a sergeant and later as an officer in the Army, Todd is especially drawn to the service and assistance that Lines for Life brings to veterans. “The impact that Lines for Life has in our community and the leadership that it shows nationally is a credit to the staff, volunteers, and public/private support that make it happen 24/7/365,” Todd says.
Todd is a graduate of the United States Military Academy and received his MBA from the University of North Carolina. He brings a love of Army lacrosse and ACC basketball to the Pacific Northwest. Recent Portland transplants from Virginia, Todd, his wife, Gretchen and son, Will are loving their first true Oregon summer. His twin daughters, Allison and Katherine, attend Villanova and UNC-Chapel Hill respectively. Please join us in welcoming him to Lines for Life!
