Lines for Life operates this free, confidential helpline independent of any branch of military or government. We can help service members, veterans, and their families with issues big or small, including financial concerns, finding community, family and relationship issues, post-traumatic stress, substance use, homelessness, and more.
We provide immediate, nonjudgmental emotional and crisis support, in addition to connecting callers with community resources locally that can help with ongoing needs. > MilitaryHelpline.org

The national Veterans Crisis Line (VCL) is a free, confidential resource administered by the Veterans Administration. The VCL is available to anyone, even those not registered with VA or enrolled in VA health care. The caring, qualified responders at the Veterans Crisis Line are specially trained and experienced in helping Veterans of all ages and circumstances.
Lines for Life acts as the sole center providing backup support to the VCL, ensuring excellent service for Veterans and families who reach out during crisis. Since 2012, Lines for Life has answered thousands of VCL calls each year, and our response is growing.
