I’ve struggled with suicidal thoughts and behaviors since my earliest memories. I doubted myself and my capabilities to restore hope to others, and some days are still an uphill battle. But since starting to work at Lines for Life, I’ve seen a positive shift in my mental health. I have found hope for my future, by instilling hope in the future of others.
When I’m answering calls, I am surrounded by a supportive network that far surpasses any environment I have ever worked in throughout my years in the mental health field.
It is my personal mission to assist people with seeing their potential and seeing that there is hope for their own future. In doing so, the people we help have given me a new perspective as well and have granted me the affirmative that I, too, am able to rise to the occasion even when times are tough.
