The Behavioral Health Support Line is a service that provides immediate no-cost behavioral health screening, counseling services, and referrals to available mental health and substance use recovery providers nearby for ongoing care, using a statewide directory tool.
We’re with you, 24/7.
Many people wait to find a mental health provider or substance use recovery program until they need it now – and finding a provider can feel especially daunting when you need urgent support.
We’ll learn about what you’re going through and get to know your needs before referring you to care.
When you call, a clinician will listen as you talk through your needs. We’ll get to know you and offer immediate support for what you’re going through right now.
You may talk with the clinician two or three times as we assess to determine what kind of ongoing care is right for you. Together, we’ll map out steps you can take to begin improving your quality of life.
Finding a provider who understands you and affirms your identities is crucial. We can narrow our search to recommend providers who serve your community, and who provide care in a language you speak.
We’ll stick with you until you find the right provider for you.
After we recommend reaching out to one or more providers in your area, we’ll follow up to make sure you were able to connect with someone. If they weren’t a good fit after all, we’ll provide additional support for the moment – and we’ll recommend other options until you find the right fit.
Everyone needs a boost sometimes.
If you’re waiting for an upcoming appointment and need to talk to someone right away, give us a call. We can support you in that urgent moment, any time of day or night.
