For the past eight months, two government agencies have been collecting photos from people whose goal is to prevent suicide. But not just any photos. Messages of hope. Direct, simple communication, shared mainly through social media.
This is a project of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and SAMHSA (the U.S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration).
If you’d like to check out the project–maybe share it on Facebook or other social media for friends and family–head here.
