Locate treatment opportunities for youth in psychiatric residential treatment services (PRTS), sub-acute and acute levels of care
The Acute Care Coordination program is a service of Lines for Life in partnership with the Oregon Health Authority. Lines for Life is a non-profit dedicated to preventing substance abuse and suicide, and promoting mental wellness. This ground-breaking program aims to reform access to mental health services for youth and providers in Oregon.
The Acute Care Coordinator works with providers to identify barriers to care that far to often plague the mental health system, in an effort to transition youth to an appropriate level of psychiatric care.
- To ease the burden on mental healthcare providers
- To offer a centralized location for providers to view treatment opportunities
- To facilitate access to appropriate services
The Acute Care Line is available for providers 24/7/365. Representatives are able to assist providers in enrolling clients into the program, answering providers inquiries and facilitating movement through the system.
